How to always go viral using “Reverse Numericals” without fail

A reverse numerical is a method in which you reveal information to the audience in an order, starting at the least important or impactful and leaving the most important to the end.

This does 2 things:

1. Makes the viewer beg to know the final thing 

2. Makes them watch the entire video without skipping, because skipping a step may make the whole advice redundant.

I'll give you an example:

“The 4 most important muscles to train when trying to be a pro golfer, the last one is imperative..”

#4 is the forearms

Speak about reasons for this…

#3 is quads

Speak about reasons for this…

#2 is the glutes

Speak about reasons for this…

#1 is Core

Speak about reasons for this…

What you’ve done here ultimately is made them wait for the final answer, and the one we all really want.

I could have just said, “Core is the most important muscle in the body when becoming a pro golfer”. But that would have made the view duration tank and thus less people would watch the entire thing - making it less likely to go viral. 

Now reverse numerical are a method which some creators are using extremely well, and after going through some of their content, all the viral videos are using this method to one degree or another. 

Next time you're making content or even revealing information to someone don’t just give the sucker punch up front, give them a few jabs first in order to keep their attention. Remember view duration is significant. 

I guarantee you could come up with an Idea for some content you can make now, and make a reverse holisical out of it with relative ease. It just takes a bit of time in order to nail it and get a feel for how to do them without boring your audience. 

This can be done for blog posts, Instagram captions, email flows… Anything. You begin revealing the answer to something in steps and by the end, they are gonna be itching to hear the final step.
