Tiktok plans to give creators billions

Cool news for you on today’s newsletter, and in fact a very big reason for your to begin picking up your phone and making content as soon as you have finished reading this.

In light of the new year, more and more people are using TikTok, both as consumers but also as a creator.

This isn’t strict to Titkok, but also all social media, as they battle it out for your attention. But TikTok has its eyes set on a particular company that runs on attention…

Can you guess which?

That’s right, YouTube.

Going across 2024 TikTok are going to make a considerable effort to go against YouTube in an effort to take some of the attention from them and bring it to their own app.

No one has been able to do this of course because YouTube basically have a monopoly when it comes to the long-form content of this world. So how are they going to do it…?

MONEY.

And a lot of it. In fact sources are claiming that TikTok is ready to push out more than 10x what they currently are towards creators on the app. In some cases that means people are going to be making millions of dollars from the content they make.

Now if you're wondering why you should begin making content… you shouldn’t anymore.

I’m sure there will be brackets your need to be within in order to be eligible for these pay outs but even if your only able to make an extra 1-2 grand a month, that’s a lot of money for some people.

That’s enough to quit your job and piss off around Asia for the rest of your life. So take this seriously, think about what you want to make content about… be willing to accept the work ahead of you and JUST START.

Building an audience is only going to become more valuable year on year. The biggest businesses in the world know this which is why they are spending so much money trying to get people’s attention.

At only a few thousand strong followers, this time next year you could be making a full-time income online simply from making videos. Isn’t that nuts? Forget being scared or uncertain… if you don't do this now I have no doubt that your are going to be regretful in the future.
